About the Journal

Overview

INA SURVEYORS JOURNAL is a peer-reviewed, open-access scientific journal published by Ikatan Surveyor Indonesia (ISI). It is committed to advancing and disseminating knowledge in the field of surveying and spatial sciences. The journal is published triannually (three times a year) and upholds the highest standards of academic publishing.

INA SURVEYORS JOURNAL was established as part of a strategic shift in the publication model of the Forum Ilmiah Tahunan Ikatan Surveyor Indonesia (FIT ISI). For many years, scientific works from FIT ISI were published in the form of conference proceedings. However, driven by the increasing demand for formally indexed and peer-reviewed publications, particularly for academic and professional recognition, INA SURVEYORS JOURNAL was created as the official scientific outlet of FIT ISI.

The journal is envisioned as a platform to elevate the quality and visibility of Indonesian surveyor research, encouraging integration between professional practice and scientific advancement.

History of the Journal

Founded in 2025, INA SURVEYORS JOURNAL emerged in response to the demand for a more formal and reputable outlet for scholarly works presented at the FIT ISI (Forum Ilmiah Tahunan Ikatan Surveyor Indonesia). The transition from conference proceedings to a scientific journal reflects a collective concern and aspiration from the surveying community to enhance the impact, credibility, and academic value of their work.

The journal aims to serve as a repository of professional knowledge, fostering intellectual exchange among surveyors, researchers, educators, and policy-makers across Indonesia and beyond.
